Our people and their expertise is one of our most important assets.

Key staff hold positions on advisory groups and panels in relation to animal welfare, fatigue and road rules with the TruckSafe, Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, National Heavy Vehicle Regulator and industry groups.  
One of our senior staff holds an executive role.
Athol Carter (Compliance Manager) is a TruckSafe Australia Board Member and sits on the Animal Welfare Sub‐Committee. In 2018 Athol was inducted into the Queensland Trucking Association Emerging Leader program and 2019 was involved in the Australian Trucking Associations Future Leader Forum

Yarn at the Yard

Yarn at the Yard is a one-of-a-kind ESG initiative of Fraser’s Livestock Transport that came to be in December 2018 when our company recognised a need to bring to the trucking industry, particularly those in rural areas, a broader understanding of industry issues. 


Yarn at the Yard has evolved from its humble beginnings as a driver training day into a chance for us to give something back by engaging with the road transport industry as a whole.  The event is now utilised for both industry and training with training days extending beyond our drivers by delivering programs for our workshop staff as well.


Yarn at the Yard offers a space for genuine conversations on health, well-being, technology, and compliance and in previous years has been a platform for major industry launch announcements.
